In the wizard’s tower, he danced with glee,
A discovery made, a spell set free.
Grimoires dropped as papers flew,
In his office at the base, his joy grew.

Through winding halls and staircases high,
Clutching knowledge, reaching for the sky.
Years of dedication, ambition’s flame,
In his sanctuary, the wizard’s aim.

But in his quest, he stumbled blind,
A trapdoor unseen, truth hard to find.
Falling through void, clutching his tome,
Falling through void, clutching his tome,

Atop the tower, in darkness deep,
Old runes whispered, secrets to keep.
Chanting spells, in robes of blue,
Dancing with wind, his magic grew.

“I can see, I can see!” he cried aloud,
World unveiled, beneath the shroud.
Yet in his triumph, a bitter truth,
Echoes of silence, shadows of youth.

For in the tower’s lonely keep,
The wizard found, secrets steep.
But amidst wonders, darkness lay,
In empty halls, he knelt to pray.

A coward’s truth, in silence found,
In the wizard’s tower, he was bound.
To chase knowledge, yet fear the light,
In the depths of magic’s endless night.
